In the almighty Sun Kingdom, it never rains. In the Rain Dukedom, select women of the royal family have the ability to call the rain with song. So when the most powerful ruler in the world, the Sun King Livius Orvinus Ifrikia, decides it's time to take a wife, it only makes sense that he demand to marry one of the four princesses of the Rain Dukedom, an offer they can't refuse. Nike Remarcier is the youngest of the Rain princesses, and the one who inherited the ability to call the rain. Reluctantly, she journeys from her homeland to the Sun Kingdom, but when she meets the Sun King - the man who conquered the world in three short years. Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii is the tale of this mismatched pair, and what happens when each discovers the other is a very different person than they expected.

E7Wild WaltzOne day, out of nowhere, Livi's uncle Bardwin (Bard) returns home. Although he once supported Livi as prime minister, Livi shows nothing but resentment towards him. E8Shelter from the RainIt is revealed that the former prime minister, Bard, returned home out of concern for Livi. Although Livi and Bard continue to seek each other out and need each other's assistance, they never seem to come to an understanding. E9The Principality of RainNike's busy life as wife of the Sun King is interrupted by an urgent message from the Principality of Rain. Nike's grandmother, Tohara, has collapsed, and she wants to see her granddaughter. Livi notices Nike's concern for her grandmother, and decides to journey with her to the Principality of Rain. - Return
E12ReturnTohara wants to keep Nike with her at any cost. But when she learns how Nike and Livi feel about each other, she goes of her own accord to see her granddaughter off joyfully. Nike and Livi return to the Sun Kingdom having formally acknowledged their feelings for each other. And so their new life together truly begins...
