An in depth, earnest look into the events leading up to the war, the war itself, the aftermath and everything in between. Rarely are any documentaries as brutally honest as the works of Ken Burns, and The Vietnam War sits on top of that list. Accounts from American and Vietnamese veterans on all sides proviide a gut wrenching view of reality. This documentary cuts to the very heart of a period of global unrest and social upheavel in a manner few others can replicate.
