The Untouchables Ratings & Reviews

It's hard to watch anything with the "FBI" now, knowing how disgustingly corrupt and criminal they have become, however, this is one of those shows where the backstory is just as good as the show. Did you know that Eliot Ness was a prohibition officer? AKA ATF? I know, it doesn't make it better, but did you also know that he didn't have much to do with arresting Capone and the mob? Yeah that was the IRS, I know, they actually did something good for once. What is true is that Eliot Ness's crew did receive the name untouchables because Capone couldn't buy them out, and Eliot Ness was an honest officer, he was the harbinger of rights for the accused and ethics in criminal prosecution. Eliot Ness did help write this show and did want the show to be more "realistic" than what Hollywood wanted. Now, if you think like I do about the FBI, you might like to hear the small fact that the FBI hated this show and petitioned to shut it down, along with Capone's Family. Give The Untouchables a chance, it's a darn good show!
