Ripples and his friends are playing sponge ball when Lillo arrives with a new friend Bumbo, a pup shark. Bumbo starts playing with everyone and Ripples soon learns that he is somewhat presumptuous. Intent on teaching Bumbo a lesson, Ripples challenges him to a race but to his own disappointment, he actually loses.
