The Tester

Season 1

The Tester is a serialized reality program featuring eleven or twelve contestants, selected from thousands of applicants, competing in a variety of challenges to win a job at Sony Computer Entertainment in quality assurance as a game tester with a $5,000 signing bonus and a PlayStation 3 video game console.

    Buzz In or Buzz OffSix gamers remain for a BUZZ!-themed quiz challenge testing their mastery of all things PlayStation® and somebody cracks under the pressure.
  • Focus, People, Focus!

    Focus, People, Focus!The five remaining gamers are evaluated on their ability to 'focus under pressure' during a timed paintball challenge.
  • Killer Recall

    Killer RecallThe last four gamers must memorize self-defense combinations and use them against a gauntlet of attackers in a live game scenario.
  • Season Finale

    Season FinaleThe final 3 gamers from Season 1 race for the finish during over a series of intense mini-challenges involving problem solving, dexterity, knowledge and game play. With no judges, only time and skill will determine who wins the title of The Tester.
