He has a state-of-the-art veterinary facility, but he also uses procedures that he has invented to care for the animals who come in. He has an excellent bedside manner for his four-legged patients and their two-legged "parents."

Having recently lost the the dog's brother to a similar illness, emotions are running high. E6Episode 6A four-year-old chinchilla arrives for surgery on a broken leg, but his tiny airways and bones make it a difficult procedure. Meanwhile, a puppy is rushed to the veterinary practice after being hit by a van, and Noel must deal with the risk of infection as he fights to save its limb.
