In Italy to collect a new car for Burns the Simpsons find themselves in a village whose mayor is none other than Sideshow Bob,now respectably married to a local girl and with a son.Unfortunately at a celebration feast Lisa gets drunk and reveals Bob's murderous past,leading to a vendetta and a pursuit to Rome where the family gets rescued by Krusty,in town to perform 'I Pagliacchi'.
