Whilst on a fishing trip in Canada, the Saint encounters Professor Mueller, who's being tricked and lied to in order to defect to the Russians with a satellite system he's invented. Using the release of his family, as bait, the professor's taken to a remote cabin where he's to board a sea plane. But if the professor boards this plane, he'll never see his family nor freedom again.
