Micah stumbles onto Lucas' ranch badly wounded by an escaped prisoner who tied him up in a barb wire fence. Known as a "backshooter", Bletch Droshek holes up in a mining settlement called Droshek Town - run by his brother Ott who has no intention of letting the deputized Lucas leave town alive.
