Takeru Washio is a former detective who now works for a community-based security company. His wife Miu, works part-time at a neighborhood family restaurant. The couple lives peacefully with their two children, until one day, when their 8-year-old daughter got kidnapped. However, instead of giving ransom, the couple is told to kidnap another child. Despite the unreasonable demand, the couple complied to save their child.
