A married couple enters a remote valley where an unseen intelligence brings about attacks around a farm from tumbleweeds (that explode), frogs (that dissolve) and rocks (that kill). As a farmer starts losing his mind and the wife goes into hysterics, the husband tries to fathom any reason behind these unprovoked assaults.
