- ZokkiieAugust 24, 2026This was a pretty fun watch, mainly because it actually feels like a proper Greek mythology adventure. Armand Assante is great as Odysseus, and there's plenty of good stuff along the way with Cyclops, sirens, gods, monsters and all the other crazy stops on his journey. The cast is also packed with familiar faces, which is always nice. The 90s TV budget definitely shows, especially in some of the effects, sets and costumes, and the pacing slows down in a few places. But there's a lot of charm to it, and I liked that it takes its time with the story instead of rushing through everything. A really enjoyable adaptation overall.
