Wu-chi and Fan Yao prepare a trap for the Elders of Mystirs to get the anti-dote to save the hostages. Chao Min is angry for Wu-chi saves Tzu-jo.
Mieh Chueh tells Tzu-jo the secret of the Dragon Sabre and the Heaven Sword. She forces Tzu-jo to swear and tells her to be the Chief of E Mei. She even asks her to seduce Wu-chi so as to get the sword and sabre.
Wan An Temple is set on fire. Wu-chi goes to save them. Hut Mieh Chueh dies in this incident.
Although the lord disallows Chao Min to befriend with Wu-chi, she disobeys her father and goes to find Shih Sun with Wu-chi.
