Guests: comedian Bob Blasser singer Helen O'Connell Jazz trumpeter and bandleader Lee Castle with the Jimmy Dorsey Band and a surprise mystery guest (vocalist Bob Eberle) with Ellie Frankel Quintet. Highlights: The band performs "Boogie Woogie" and almost blew off the roof off the 140-seat KYW studio. Helen belts out "Amapola" Bob Eberle sings "Tangerine" *Note: Both vocalists Helen O'Connell and Bob Eberle sang with the Jimmy Dorsey Band in the 1940's and were reunited when Mike and show producer Forrest L. (Woody) Fraser succeeded in staging a mystery guest surprise.
