Marshal Earp keeps the law, first in Kansas and later in Arizona, using his over-sized pistols and a variety of sidekicks. Most of the saga is based loosely on fact, with historical badguys and good guys, ending up with the famous shootout at the O.K. corral.

    The Bounty KillerA mysterious killer has ambushed and killed nine people in the Robbers' Roost country of Utah. Wyatt's old Army friend, Colonel Benteen, begs him to take the case so that the cavalry may be saved in the event of an Apache attack. And before Wyatt is through he has to enlist the aid of every notorious outlaw in Robbers' Roost to get the mysterious killer and those behind him.

Embarrassment it is when Wyatt is forced to enter a rodeo to prove that Mr. Buntline is no liar and the big feature is a ""shootout"" at two hundred yards, between Wyatt and his Buntline Special and an enemy with a Winchester.

    Plague CarrierEarp meets a man on the stage that treats an injured couple after a collision. Earp and Dr. McCarty who is impressed by the man's work urge him to open a practice in Dodge City but when smallpox breaks out they learn he isn't licensed.

    Kill the EditorA new editor is brought in to take over the Globe Times newspaper which has been under attack in Dodge City. Earp soon finds himself accused of murdering the female owner of a saloon with a Globe reporter rounding up witnesses to prove it.

    Little BrotherWyatt's younger brother, Morgan Earp, visits Dodge City and is immediately involved with Doc Holliday in a scheme to rescue the outlaw Smiley Dunlap, who is being held prisoner by Greg Norton and his gang. Wyatt's task of saving Morgan and Doc from being killed is made harder by his desire to keep his little brother from knowing he had a hand in rescuing the rescuers.

    The Reformation of Doc HollidayDoc Holliday is very sick with his wife Kate threatening to leave him since he won't follow anyone's instructions to get better. Earp convinces him he should reform to keep Kate. The reformed Doc with no liquor and guns keeps Earp busy.

    A Good ManA reformed gambler Tittle comes to Dodge City preaching against gambling and the devil. In this case the devil is the saloon owner Ganly who wants Tittle removed by any means forcing Earp to intervene when Tittle preaches in his saloon.

    Death for a Stolen HorseJoe Riva is nearly lynched by Pete Hendell for horse stealing which is the punishment in Kansas. Earp stops the lynching and believes Riva is innocent. Doc who knows Riva decides a different type of punishment is needed to make a point.

    Last Stand at Smoky HillBat leads a group of old buffalo hunters on a buffalo hunt believing huge herds have returned. Earp doesn't believe it but when he learns the Apache have left their reservation to hunt them, he and Mr. Cousin attempt to warn the group.
