- XAugust 19, 2025This is a fantastic expansion to the original with only one major flaw. Though the story is amazing, each season of this show was written to be the last. So season 1 was supposed to be a one off, then they did the same thing for 2, and so on. So the story is somewhat disjointed and does not flow well and a whole. That being said, there are so many iconic characters, amazing action and beautiful moments, it would be a shame to sleep on this one. It's just a little sad know how much more it COULD have been
- Danny Potter-JonesAugust 26, 2025When I first watched it I was definitely much harder on the show than I am now. It's definitely different and I don't think it was better than the original series but it isn't that bad I still recommend watching it as you might have a different opinion but I'll give you my honest opinion of it. She's too confident, quite arrogant, very stubborn and her friends don't help her much, she is a bit overpowered for me. I know they was trying to be different with this story but her friends somewhat was the issue for me unlike Avatar Aang she had everything set up for her to be the best from birth but her friends seem so pointless they don't make her better or worse they just there to get into a relationship with. I only started to enjoy it after she got traumatised because the growth after that is actually very good and made her a better character. Making a character overpowered is fine and having bad traits can be good but the friends are supposed to help the character become more balanced/likable over time and I'm not saying the friends should be perfect but it needed something more. Tenzin was my favourite character he's a bad ass and just away more interesting character his family is interesting too.
