Three's definitely a crowd for parcel-post deliveryman Doug Heffernan (Kevin James), whose newly-widowed father-in-law Arthur (Jerry Stiller) has moved in with him and his wife Carrie (Leah Remini). Doug's no longer the king of his domain--the renovated basement that houses his beloved supersized TV set--let alone the king of Queens, where he lives. Can they all just get along?

Meanwhile Arthur's trying to become Customer of the Month of the coffee shop he frequents every day.

Meanwhile, when the slam-ball court becomes available at Doug's gym, he tells Carrie he's at his physical therapist's office to buy him playing time. But when Carrie comes home and discovers that someone has doped Arthur with sleeping pills, she becomes frantic and goes looking for Doug.

Doug and Carrie decide to get her hair cut so they can go on a cruise with Deacon and Kelly. However, Carrie's new haircut isn't what Doug had hoped for. Meanwhile Arthur thinks he might not be Carrie's father and decides to investigate this.
