Three's definitely a crowd for parcel-post deliveryman Doug Heffernan (Kevin James), whose newly-widowed father-in-law Arthur (Jerry Stiller) has moved in with him and his wife Carrie (Leah Remini). Doug's no longer the king of his domain--the renovated basement that houses his beloved supersized TV set--let alone the king of Queens, where he lives. Can they all just get along?

In a desperate attempt to keep his ego intact, he asks Arthur to train him so that he can beat his wife. Dreading VowsDuring a romantic dinner, Doug is inspired to proclaim his love to Carrie. Carrie is taken by his gesture and suggests that they renew their vows. The two find that planning the wedding is much more troublesome than expected. The ceremony is on again, off again as Doug and Carrie are faced with endless complications, including finding a chimp to serve as Doug's best man. Precedent Nixin'Carrie asks Deacon and Kelly to accompany her and Doug to Florida for their visit with the in-laws so that they'll be forced to stay at a hotel instead of with Doug's parents. What looks like a perfect vacation turns into a nightmare when spring breakers invade the hotel, forcing Carrie and Doug to reconsider their future accommodations when visiting the folks. But Arthur wouldn't be Arthur if he wouldn't disobey her and misbehave. Back home Carrie tells Arthur he has always been a lousy father. Awful BigamyHolly has been kicked out of her apartment and Arthur lets her stay in the basement with him. At first Doug isn't too fond of having Holly around, but that changes when it turns out Holly, in contrast with Carrie, laughs at his jokes, makes him all the food he wants and never tells him off about something. Doug now has one woman downstairs for food and one woman upstairs for sex and has the time of his life.
