Three's definitely a crowd for parcel-post deliveryman Doug Heffernan (Kevin James), whose newly-widowed father-in-law Arthur (Jerry Stiller) has moved in with him and his wife Carrie (Leah Remini). Doug's no longer the king of his domain--the renovated basement that houses his beloved supersized TV set--let alone the king of Queens, where he lives. Can they all just get along?

    Episode 1Do RicoDoug Heffernan (played by Kevin James) does an imitation of workmate Rico (played by Angelo Pagán), a person he works with in order to get wife Carrie (played by Leah Remini) to have sex with him. But then when Carrie wants him to imitate the voice again, Doug worries she doesn't want him anymore and tries to keep Carrie from meeting the real Rico at a softball game.

    Episode 2Roast ChickenCarrie has Doug sign a congratulatory card for his boss' twenty years at the company and the whole thing blows up in Doug's face. Now, Fisker, the boss, wants Doug to participate in the banquet roast and Doug blames Carrie for this fiasco. He does rise to the occasion, however, and even manages to get some good laughs out of the audience. That is, until he starts to tell some jokes that hit a little too close to home.

He unsuccessfully tries to return the car, forcing Carrie to work major overtime to compensate for his mistake.

When they first start watching the kids Carrie was terrified of the idea, but soon after they began to love the idea, up until Kirby catches Doug and Carrie being intimate in their parents' bed.

Arthur thinks of another crazy scheme, on having half priced footwear for sons and fathers.

Doug later finds out that Carrie's boss has HDTV. He asks her if she will invite her boss to Doug's poker game so he can try to watch the Superbowl at her boss' place.

Among others, she says she finds Deacon good looking, which causes Doug to become jealous. Doug complains about it to Deacon, who brags about it to his wife, Kelly. Deacon's paintball birthday party turns into a jealous war.
