The Jimmy Dean Show

Season 3

The Jimmy Dean show was a weekly variety TV program with a down-home country feel to it, but was surprisingly popular all over the country. It also was different by having as his sidekick a soon-to-be famous type of puppet, a Muppet dog named Rowlf. This show ran from 1963 till 1966 and showcased a wide variety of performers, skits, and musical numbers.
