As part of his duties at the hospital, Dr. Corder is assigned the psychological care of an attempted suicide. Jean Forrest, a veteran stage actress, had calmly taken a taxi to the embankment of the Thames, and jumped in. Dr. Corder finds Jean to be a most difficult patient.
