The Haunted is an American paranormal television series that premiered on November 22, 2009 on Animal Planet. Produced by Picture Shack Entertainment, the program features ghost stories and paranormal investigations involving animals. It also incorporates actual footage and photographs from the famiilies and paranormal research teams involved.

When Jennifer and Mike started to be terrorized by a shadow figure, they looked into the history of their home and discovered that it was a cure cottage to tuberculosis patients in the 1900s. Debbie and her animals began to notice unusual activity in her home after the sudden disappearance of her mysterious roommate. As the activity escalated, Debbie called on her cousin, John Zaffis, a renowned demonologist. John is eventually convinced that a curse has been placed on Debbie and her home.
