A lonely woman in a small town hires Dr. Kimble as a handyman but discovers his true identity when a radio announcement is made that he is in the area. She gives him her car to escape but is shot by a deputy. While staggering through the woods, he's found by a recluse who quickly determines Kimble was shot by a policeman.
