The first half of the series has no real baring on the story line just Mitch dealing with his daily work load with the occasional flash fowrad, these flash forwards seemed only necessary to prolong the duration, with the final four episodes being linked to the events that happened during the original movie. Some of the acting felt a bit overly dramatic. The use of some of the supporting cast members I felt lazy having some of them play judges then a few episodes later members of the jury or lawyers
