Colt Seaver is a combination bounty hunter and stuntman. He drives a big GMC truck with a eagle painted on its hood. He chases after bad guys and returns them to the Los Angeles area. He has two companions, Howie and Jody, who usually follow Colt in his adventures, but sometimes they are on their own.

A guy sells Howie a car at a very cheap price but what Howie doesn't know is that it's stolen. When there's an accident that totals it, Colt and Howie learn about the car and they also learn that they're liable for it. So Colt sets out to find them.
