Not originally meant as a TV series, 'The Edgar Wallace Mystery Theatre' was a series of B-movies (the movies played second in a double feature). In this case the movies were all based on books by Edgar Wallace. In its current form it is essentially a series of murder-mystery dramas.

The DoubleA man (Alan MacNaughton) suffering from amnesia, false memory and paralysis of his legs returns to England with his nurse (Jeanette Sterke). He believes he killed his partner 6 months earlier, but the body was never found. They are to stay with her sister (Jane Griffiths) while she continues to try to overcome his handicaps. They are spotted at the airport by the secretary (Anne Lawson) of Basil Henson, who has kept tabs on his movements. Sterke gets engaged in following the trail, which begins with a solicitor and leads to Henson who is a successful stock broker with the same name as MacNaughton's partner. - Accidental DeathE9
