Drew is an assistant director of personnel in a Cleveland department store and he has been stuck there for ten years. Other than fighting with co-worker Mimi, his hobbies include drinking beer and not being able to get dates. To make a few extra bucks he has a micro-brewery going in his garage with his buddies.

Drew becomes obsessed with finding out who it was that got him in trouble.

Because of the stress of the case, Drew loses it during an argument at the Warsaw, gets arrested for assault, and has to doubly defend himself.

Sure enough, as Drew and Janet become more involved, Drew begins to realize how clingy and desperate Janet really is.

As the weeks go by, tensions start to run high and Drew is pressured to take a side once and for all.

Meanwhile, Blaine becomes such a nuisance that Mimi and Drew call a truce and form an unholy alliance to force him out of the store.

Depressed about possibly losing his job, Drew and the gang visit a small business expo and eventually get the idea to brew and sell their own coffee-flavored beer.
