A freshman at a local university commits suicide. It turns out that she is involved in a criminal case of rape, in which she accused her classmate, Lyakhov. Lyakhov is the son of one of the employees of the prosecutor's office, and this case, due to his scrupulousness, is entrusted to Kushnir. At first glance, everything is simple, but upon a thorough examination of the scene, investigators discover a shoe print on the windowsill, which could not belong to the deceased.
