An amateur astronomer was discovered on the terrace of his own home, shot dead from a long distance with a rifle. In his bedroom, the police find a woman who is scared to death and asks not to tell her husband anything. It soon becomes clear that the deceived husband once served in intelligence and even has sniper skills. But the man's alibi is confirmed, and the investigation reaches a dead end.
