The skinIn this program we see, among other things, on the properties of the skin. We know that the skin contains sensory organs, sensory bodies for pain, pressure, touch, heat and cold. Certain areas of the body are more sensitive than others. The skin protects us so that bacteria and viruses that can make us ill do not get through. This and more will be covered in the program - The movementsE7
The movementsWhat takes up the most space in the body is the skeleton and muscles. With the help of X-rays, you can see the skeleton. In this program we get, among other things, know a little about what the bones are made of, and what kind of food we should eat to get a strong and good skeleton. Surrounding the skeleton are the muscles. When the muscles create movement in the joints between the bones, we move. We have muscles that control all the joints in the body. - The alimentary canalsE8
The alimentary canalsThe path from food to waste products is via an ingenious "channel" system in the body. We take in many different substances when we eat, but the body cannot use them all. In order for the cells to choose what they want, the food must be broken down - digested - so that the different substances emerge. We take a closer look at proteins, carbohydrates, fats and water. - The transportE9
The transportThe heart pumps the blood around the body, exactly as fast as it is needed. We look at the blood system in the body, and what functions the different blood cells have. On its journey around the body, the blood passes through the lungs and collects fresh air, which all cells need. Fresh air and food are then transported around the entire body. What the cells do not need, the blood takes with it to the kidneys, and further out as urine. - The controlE10
The controlThis program is about how the brain controls the body. The messages that come from all our senses go to the brain and tell us about everything we see and hear, taste and smell. Everything is collected in the brain, so we recognize things for another time. Our thoughts control the body, and the messages to and from the brain go through the nerves.
