Meanwhile, Smithy, Gabriel, Andrea and Laura begin the search for an Alzheimer’s patient who has disappeared from his family home. When Gabriel catches three youths attacking the man, a scuffle ensues and the boy receives a facial injury, but Andrea can't be sure if Gabriel dealt the blow. At Hendon, Amber and Leela are paired with probationer Dan Casper to undertake the response level driving course, but Amber's attempts to chat up the lesbian instructor prove to be her downfall. Andrea is finally exposed when Neil catches her with her editor.
