Nick, Jesse and Constable John get the surprize of their lives when they hear Ace and his friends rehearsing a rock song that he composed himself. "Kid I'm gonna make you a star", says Nick, and offers to work as his manager. The glamour of the music business soon wears off as reality and hard work set in. Ace really has some talent and it is a difficult decision to know which road to travel.
