A group of criminals, however, overhear them and kidnap the alien. They use the creature to commit crimes. Eventually Superboy rescues the alien and stops the criminals.

It kidnaps Lana, but she is rescues by Superboy. In the end, the discover that the creature is a white ape. It can change its shape because it was exposed to a mysterious purple gas.
