Abbott builds a prefab house for Costello who is about to be married. Unknown to him, two drunk college students alter the numbers on the crates. The house is built according the incorrect numbers and ends up being a disaster, with slanted floors, missing walls, and a whole host of other comical problems. When Costello, his fiancee, and future in-laws come to visit, the slapstick comedy begins.
