Team Knight Rider Ratings & Reviews
- RichardOctober 26, 2025Saw it on TV and it felt like someone tried to reboot Knight Rider by adding more cars, more agents… and somehow forgot the actual Knight. Set ten years after the original Knight Rider, this spin-off introduces a new team of operatives: Kyle, Jenny, Duke, Erica and Kevin, each paired with their own AI-powered vehicle. The Foundation for Law and Government (FLAG) is back, but instead of one man and one car, it’s five agents and a fleet of talking machines. The vehicles have personalities, rivalries and onboard sass, but none of them are KITT. The tone? Late 90's action cheese with a dash of techno flair. The cast tries hard, the cars talk back and the missions are pure Saturday afternoon fare. But here’s the rub: while it expands the universe, it loses the soul. No Michael Knight. No KITT. Just echoes of what made the original iconic. Watching it a reboot that had ambition but forgot the heart. It’s fun in a “what-if” kind of way, but for fans of the original, it’s like tuning in for a legend and getting a committee.
