Flower TaleFumi is starting her high school life at Matsuoka Girl's High School. Her family moved back to Kamakura, and when she was in grade school her best friend was Akira. Surprisingly, on the first-day commute to their respective schools, Fumi and Akira run into each other. Later Fumi discovers that her cousin Chizu is getting married, which comes to a great shock as Fumi has feelings for her cousin.

Spring StormTrying to figure out what club to join, Fumi meets a handsome upperclassman who invites Fumi to join. Later, the girl introduces herself as Sugimoto and explains she's a member of the basketball club. Fumi joins that club immediately.

Rise and ShineFumi tells Yasuko she is leaving the basketball club due to her lack of aestheticism and Yasuko expresses regret for it. Yasuko asks Fumi on a date. Fumi formally joins the literary club and afterwards Yasuko takes Fumi to the library room where they share their first kiss.

Youth is a Lovely ThingYasuko and Fumi become a couple and Yasuko wants to start going to school in the mornings with Fumi, but Fumi realizes too late that she already made that arrangement with Akira beforehand. Fumi wants to continue going to school with Akira, but in exchange, she and Yasuko will have time together after school. Fumi resolutely tells Akira that she still wants to go to school with only her and in the process comes out about her relationship with Yasuko.

Finally the upper classmen begin their performance of "Wurthering Heights." Fumi heart skips a beat at the sight of Yasuko's performance on stage. At the end of the performance, Fumi is taken aback as her senpai starts to cry.

However, a rumor about Yasuko going to study in England after graduation begins to spread, which comes as a shock to Kyouko. In the meantime, Fumi runs into Yasuko at the train station, and looking at each other together.
