Castiel schedules a meeting with Dean in his dream but when the Winchester brothers arrive at the location, they find that Castiel has gone. His vessel is actually Jimmy Novak, a religious middle-class man from Illinois that has no recollections of the Castiel's memories. Dean and Sam try to persuade him to stay as he could endanger his family but Jimmy sneaks out and travels to reunite with his wife and daughter.
