It deals with the story of Sulaiman, the single forty-year-old man who lives with his miserly and controlling mother who refuses to let him get married so that his wife does not give birth to sons that may inherit his wealth. His mother's cousin Um Faisal attempts to persuade her to let her son get married but fails until she decides to challenge Um Sulaiman and cooperate with her widowed relative in order to get Sulaiman to marry her by tricking and persuading his mother that she is old and does not give birth to children. Umm Sulaiman finally agrees, and after marriage, Umm Sulaiman discovers that Taiba is not old. So, the struggle starts between Umm Sulaiman on one side and Taiba and her children on the other side.
