Tom volunteers to conduct an inventory of the post, despite finding an Arapaho "devil doll" in his backpack which is apparently meant as a warning and a curse. The Mysterious StrangerTom has come to deeply respect the local attorney who's been teaching him about the law. But he is disturbed to find out that the man may be in part responsible for the oppression of the town's Polish workers, which has even escalated into murder. He tells Bradley that he has been granted a new trial, but Bradley is too fearful of being locked up for even a short time to come back with him, and in a fight with him Tom falls into the cave. The AvengersTom Brewster and a convicted murderer called Pike are passengers on the same stagecoach when a sudden storm forces the travelers to take shelter. While the travelers wait in a deserted cathedral, Pike's guard is shot. Sugarfoot traces the sniper to an abandoned mine shaft. - WolfE20
WolfA poor old homesteader with a large brood is suspected of rustling cattle. Most of the town, including the lady rancher who hired Tom, believe he is harmless, but one rancher wants to see him hung. When the homesteader's eldest son, a gunslinger, returns home, it makes the situation potentially much worse.
