Karate Kid

Karate KidMark feels his friends don't respect him, and his mother babies him. In order to earn respect he joins a Karate class. His teacher kicks him out for being too wimpy. Cody agrees to help Mark prepare for the big karate tournament (Cody is a black belt) in a month and Mark becomes a totally new man. He faces the best person in the first match and falls behind quickly. Cody, however, notices his weakness and Mark uses it to catch up and force the guy to the final point. Mark loses the match, but wins respect from everybody except the coach of the other guy who mocks him and Cody and then challenges Cody to a karate match. Cody beats him badly. Frank is tired of all the yelling in the house so he installs an intercom that has a radio in it, but he is forced to destroy it when it wakes everyone up in the middle of the night.
College Bound

College BoundWhen J.T. is sent his first credit card. Frank doesn't think he can handle the responsibility, and a spending spree soon proves this. Dana is unhappy about going to a local public college and her first English essay is a disaster.
Animal House

Animal HouseCody joins a college fraternity (Delta Delta Beta),to be cool.But finds the way they treat woman disgusting after Karen attends a party with him. Meanwhile joins the schoolband.
Spoiled Sport

Spoiled SportWhen a part time Sportscaster job becomes available, Frank's old visions of being a great announcer come back. He chokes and Carol gets the job which bums him out seeing himself stuck in an endless life of average. He snaps out of it when Carol tells him that to her he is a superstar. Ironically, when Carol denies the job, Cody ends up with it. Carol's health food kick has the kids buying their own junk food. This causes JT and Al to patrol the kitchen and endless fights over stealing each other's junk food. Finally, a food fight breaks out and when Cody tries to break it up, he is attacked from all sides. As a funny side note, in the middle of all this JT put glue in Dana's conditioner.
Revenge of the Nerd

Revenge of the NerdCody is putting up an antenna on his van during a thunderstorm when he is hit by lightning for the second time. He develops amnesia and doesn't recognize his family. Determined to be Homecoming Queen, Karen decides to befriend the one undecided voter--a nerd--but he wants more than friendship: he wants a date.

Something WildCody grows a gigantic pumpkin for the Lamberts' Halloween party and decides to carve it with plastic explosives. Mark is interested in a girl at school and asks her to the party but she turns out to be trouble.

Growing up is Hard to DoCarol and Frank are shocked when she thinks she's pregnant. Al has her first real date and asks her siblings for help. Dana and her study group get a C for a philosophy test for which Cody manages an A.
Beyond Therapy

Beyond TherapyFrank and Carol announce to the family that they're going to have a baby, and the kids are underwhelmed and are not happy. To improve their attitude, Carol insists that they all go to family therapy. The doctor examines each of the family individually and they are all against the baby mainly for selfish reasons. However, out of all of them, he only insists that Carol come back for more therapy.

Letting GoAl has a new boyfriend, Zack, who has just moved into the area. His anti-establishment views on life upset Frank and he stops her from going on a date with him. Suddenly, Dana finds out that she is allergic to Cody.

Make Room for DaddyFrank and Carol go away for a romantic weekend. Frank is worried that Carol is going overboard about the baby. Mark has a computer date. The girls have a bonding session, answering quizzes and talking about their fantasy men.

I'll Be Home For ChristmasIt's Christmastime and JT feels that he can going skiing with his mates now that he is 18, but the trip doesn't go as expected; bad-tempered Aunt Edna visits, much to Frank's and the children's displeasure.

Can't Buy Me LoveJT has borrowed a Porsche from work and impresses a waitress. He lies and says that it is his and, using money he finds, he buys her an expensive necklace. Frank is reluctant to go with Carol to the gynecologist for her ultrasound.

ThirtysomethingCody starts directing a movie with the kids as actors but forgets to write a script first. Dana begins dating a 36-year-old man but it doesn't quite go as she planned after meeting his friends. Carol starts eating weird food combinations.

The Honeymoon is OverWhen Mark's girlfriend Gabrielle spends the weekend, J.T. gives Mark advice and the girls give Gabrielle advice, and they break up. Cody gets them back together. Meanwhile, Frank gives Carol hints about what he wants for his birthday.
One Truck, Al Dente

One Truck, Al DenteAl is learning to drive, but she gets into a predicament when JT lets her drive while Frank and Carol are away at the doctors. Meanwhile, Dana has her wisdom teeth removed, but the drugs get to her head.

Head of the ClassAs Carol's pregnancy progresses, the family help with the chores but don't come up to her standards. When Dana and Cody are made history tutors for struggling students, it's Cody's approach that works with them.

Back to SchoolJT realizes that he can not find a good job, unless he goes to college. He struggles to study and fails his first test, but with the help of Mark and Cody discovers that he has dyslexia. Carol wants to get the future baby into The Sutton Academy, a prestigious pre-school, and sets up an appointment with a couple of representatives from that school. They insult the Lamberts, and Frank and Carol throw them out. Mark and Gabrielle have a hard time controlling themselves while playing Ping-Pong and even while walking.
She Came in Through the Bedroom Window

She Came in Through the Bedroom WindowCody is trying to reduce his use of the word dude and he enlists the help of Dana. Frank doesn't tell Carol that he is putting in a bedroom window for one of his old girlfriends. Carol is upset when she finds out.

Indecent ProposalCody starts sleepwalking, which takes him back to his childhood. Dana is incredulous that J.T. got an A+ and she only got a B, until overhears their professor talking about him.. Frank tries to put together a barbecue grill.

Where Have You Gone, Joe DiMaggio?JT and Frank make a bet with Dana and Carol to wear a pregnancy outfit to see if they can cope and see how it is to be pregnant for 48 hours, but JT and Frank soon learn it's not easy being pregnant. They lose the bet and must get down on their knees and kiss Dana and Carol feet while they repeat that men are the weaker sex. Meanwhile, Brendan is stunned when his favorite baseball player turns out to be a ""dilweed.""
Adventures in Babysitting

Adventures in BabysittingAl is offered a trip to Disneyland but needs $500. JT comes up the idea of babysitting many kids at once but they are overwhelmed. Frank makes Cody the foreman but the responsibility doesn't sit well. Karen's prom tries Carol's patience.
Big Girl on Campus

Big Girl on CampusDana is taking Karen to a college party and Al talks Dana into taking her. Karen becomes jealous when the college Casanova is attracted to Al and not her. Carol is having a sale of Frank's old junk, and he does his best to keep it.

A Foster/Lambert ProductionCarol goes into labor and the family heads for the hospital, except for the Foster children who were forgotten. Carol wants a natural birth without drugs but changes her mind when she feels the pain. Lilly Foster-Lambert is born healthy.
