Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld Ratings & Reviews
- HumptyMay 16, 2025Asajj Ventress is a baddie.
- StefanMay 18, 2025Tales of the Underworld has the benefit of covering two characters I really liked from The Clone Wars. Though, with the sheer number of Star Wars projects, not just animated, Tales of the Empire feels less like a rare treat and more like another drop in an ever-expanding sea of content.
- Junior ReyesSeptember 4, 2025The thing I find underwhelming about it, is that much like Tales of the Empire, I find it kind of misnamed. Tales of the Empire had little to do with the Empire, Morgan wasn't even a part of the Empire nor did she join it in the show. Tales of the Underworld, aside from Cad, Ventress doesn't really have much to do with the underworld. And frankly, the episodes are so dang short. 15 minutes roughly apiece. Like.... why? Just edit them to together, and make each story one episode. Minutes the intro and the credits, and you'd probably have a single 30 minute ep of any other show. Commit to it, and make longer episodes, and frankly, actually have the episodes focus on characters actually in the thing you're claiming the Tales are of. Like, if you're doing a Tales of the Underworld, why aren't there 6 30 minute episodes, each one dealing with a different character, maybe even new characters, that deal with lots of criminals. Talk about a great way to reintroduce a character like Dash Rendar. Or Legends crime lords. Or have a story set in Jabba's Palace.

- JoelMay 4, 2025I’m kinda tired of Star Wars animation being stuck in the same time period, with the same characters, and the same animation style. This is just so incredibly safe and boring. The very opening scene with Ventress and the very last scene with Cad Bane were great. Everything in between is a snooze fest. Time to leave this era behind if this is the type of content we’re gonna be getting from it. Tales of the Jedi and Empire were much more enjoyable.
