Counselor Deanna Troi's startled to awake and find herself aboard a Romulan ship, having been surgically altered to appear as one. Subcommander N'vek admits he's responsible for having taken the action, while Deanna attended a conference to have her play the part of Major Raqal of the feared intelligence organisation, the Tal Shiar, in order to help prevent an action which could cause chaos on Romulus.
