Told from the point of view of the "lower rank" personnel, it gives the series and universe a more relatable and Average Joe feel. The antics are often funny and definitely not as serious as the other installments in the universe of Star Trek.

- ርልዪረFebruary 15, 2026🖖🏿This show made me go back and watch "TOS" The Original Series, the animated series which would never have happened without Lower Decks! This show also expands our knowledge of species in a way other series couldn't because of certain limitations of style and budgets for irl shows. It has further inspired our household to try various and sundry gaming experiences such as the Table Top Role Playing Game that came out recently. This show does a great job of calling back/incorporating the foregoing series while providing an original adventure from a part of Star Fleet rarely addressed in universe.
