Episode 1The highs and lows of modern farming at Cannon Hall Farm in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, with Helen Skelton, Jules Hudson and JB Gill leading the way. JB Gill explores a green revolution taking root down some forgotten back streets in Manchester and, in honour of 75 years since the Land Girls Army, there is a celebration of the women in farming keeping the nation fed today.

Episode 2Rob and Dave Nicholson welcome the arrival of a shire foal to their beloved mare, Sapphire. The pint-sized farmers taking the countryside by storm are introduced, as well as six-year-old Olivia, who isn't scared of getting her hands dirty. Helen, JB Gill and Jules also have their hands full bottle feeding five orphaned goats.
