Iza Rosa arrives at the scene of the accident. Kamil Baryka, a valued investigative reporter, fell from the balcony of his own apartment in very unclear circumstances. Prosecutor Jagiełło is already there and predicts that the press will become very interested in his colleague's death. Rosa determines that Baryka recently returned to the topic of one of his famous investigative reports. Years ago, after his text, several dozen people were sent to prison, and one of them, the shady entrepreneur Koralewski, is now preparing to return to freedom. However, Baryka also has a very unpleasant personal history. Olka Latoszek visits her doctor again. The diagnosis she hears becomes increasingly grim.
