A puppet series adapting the long-running Belgian comic book series "Suske en Wiske" (1946-) by Willy Vandersteen. The orphan girl Wiske (her name is Flemish diminutive of Louise) initially lives alone with her Aunt Sidonia. She meets the fellow orphan Suske (his name is a Flemish diminutive of François) who becomes her best friend and surrogate brother. The two kids have just entered puberty but they get involved in many strange adventures. Their most prominent supporting character is Professor Barabas, an eccentric inventor who has created his own time machine.
