Super Sonico is a clutzy, adorable, and well-endowed 18-year old girl. She's a complete sucker for anything cute, especially stray cats, all of which she giddily adopts. However, though Sonico should be enjoying a carefree and simple lifestyle as a young college student, her life is really anything but easy: she must balance being a professional model, working part-time at her grandmother's restaurant, and practicing guitar and performing concerts with her friends Suzu Fujimi and Fuuri Watanuki in their band, First Astronomical Velocity—all while attending college. SoniAni: Super Sonico the Animation follows Sonico as she faces daunting challenges in her search for her place in the world, even when her days are brimming with love and happiness.

E1I'll Do My Best!Super Sonico's classes end, and she heads to her part-time job to model. She has to wear a swimsuit for the shoot, but the individuals there want something with a bit more spice, so they ask her to wear another swimsuit which they're prepared for her. Sonico's nervous as she takes a peek to see what swimsuit they've given her. - Sonico Goes to Okinawa
E3Sonico Goes to OkinawaSonico goes to Okinawa for a modeling shoot. The first day she meets all the staff, and has dinner with them. The manager, Kitamura, shows Sonico back to her room so she could get some rest, but gets invited to go drinking by the client. Another man approaches when he hears Kitamura speaking so highly of his model. The next afternoon, after the photo shoot, the man calls Kitamura to remind him that he agreed to Sonico appearing in an action film shooting that evening. Unfortunately, while watching Sonico during the filming, Kitamura's protective instincts kick in, resulting in him becoming the unwilling superhero star of that week's TV show episode. - Daydream

Everything started when she was into rock during middle school. She couldn't express herself honestly and with as much power as a rock musician, so she wanted to be like one. E5New WorldAn editor spots the magazine featuring Sonico in Okinawa. Kinomoto Sayaka from Musashino Publications, a local magazine, gets access to Sonico for an around the clock interview. She didn't expect that Sonico's agency would grant them access, but once she's on the job, she finds things were different than she thought. - Cruising of the Dead
E6Cruising of the DeadOuka Satsurikuin, Sonico's co-worker at the modeling agency, gets a job as the spokesperson of a new fat-reducing ointment. Ouka invites Sonico, Suzu, and Fuuri to join her on a VIP cruise to celebrate the product's launch. In a private cabin the ointment company's owner is confronted by one of her own staff, concerned that the product has had insufficient testing, she proceeds with the product release anyway. Ouka's roll-out presentation goes very well, with samples given to attendees who are pleased with the immediate results. That night, however, Ouka, Sonico and her bandmates find themselves on the run from the other passengers, who have effectively become zombies from the ointment's side-effects. Fuuri comes late, and find Miina worried that Sonico won't respond, and is locked in the waiting room. It cries out to her, and Sonico is taken aback by its cuteness, but she remembers how Fuuri and Suzu told her she shouldn't take in any more cats. E11A Saint Comes to TownIt's December and the town is buzzing with a Christmas feel. However, there was a department store built next to Sonico's hometown shopping district, and the district is seeing a huge drop of in its customers. The members of the district set up a Christmas operations center and call Suzu in for help... - We're Right Here
E12We're Right HereFirst Astronomical Velocity prepares for their New Year's concert, but Suzu suddenly tells them they don't have enough funds to do the concert. Sonico and Suzu ask their friends to help them preform, and they gladly accept. First Astronomical Velocity will have their New Year's concert!
