Leipzig Homicide

Season 3

SOKO Leipzig is a German police procedural television programme, a spin-off of the earlier German police programme SOKO 5113. It was first broadcast on 31 January 2001, on German television channel ZDF. On 12 November 2008, the first part of a two-part crossover between SOKO Leipzig and British police procedural The Bill was aired, with the same version being shown on both ZDF and British television channel ITV1.

Mord ist sein HobbyUpper Commissioner Ina Zimmermann astonished badly when Herbert Kochler enters the Homicide Bureau and a murder confesses. Even more amazed when Hajo the man wants to send home again Ina. Herbert is one of the harmless lunatics who want to make always interesting to the public by claiming to have committed crimes of which they know the truth but only from the media. Ina is the thing odd to because of the young patrolman Karsten Hoefke, the Herbert wants to have killed, nothing stands in the newspaper. In case there is not. Ina goes into the matter. And in fact, they discovered Karsten Hoefke shot in his apartment. The factual circumstances correspond exactly to what Herbert has described. Hajo is shocked that Herbert has his fantasies now seem to be implemented in violence and arrested the perpetrator confessed that seems to be happy to come finally behind bars. Ina is the only one on the team who may not believe that Herbert is capable of such an act. The routine investigations in the vicinity of the Dead shown that Karsten Hoefke was unpopular with colleagues in the police station. He was a loner who sought a higher post in the CID and had his colleague Enrico Becker, who with his ex-girlfriend Marina is together now displayed for corruption. An act of revenge, as many believe. Udo Kamphausen, the chief of section 4, want the SOKO his people leave them alone. Herbert was possibly used as a willing tool to eliminate an unwanted colleagues?
