- Tiago BettencourtE1
Tiago BettencourtNext Sunday, World Music Day, Sílvia Alberto talks with Tiago Bettencourt. The singer-songwriter is presenting his new album, A Procura, this week. And it's precisely at the Teatro da Trindade, on the stage where he'll perform on October 3rd, that the former Toranja member shares his way of seeing and making music. He confesses that he really enjoys "getting to the beginning of things," that nowadays everything is more cerebral, that some of the innocence of music-making has been lost, and that this album reflects the sounds of his own journey. Outside of music, the young man, who already graduated in architecture, envisions himself working in a carpentry shop in 10 years. - Resistência: Miguel Ângelo, Tim, Fernando Cunha e Olavo BilacE2
Resistência: Miguel Ângelo, Tim, Fernando Cunha e Olavo BilacThis week, we welcome four musicians who have been resisting in Portugal for 25 years: Miguel Ângelo, Tim, Fernando Cunha, and Olavo Bilac, representing the collective Resistência. On the eve of their big shows at MEO Arena and Multiusos de Guimarães, the group talks with Sílvia Alberto about this journey full of stories and camaraderie. From their origins in the 1990s to the present day, the audience continues to be of all ages and sing along to the songs from beginning to end. As Miguel Ângelo so aptly puts it: "What I enjoyed realizing (...) was being there, closing my eyes, singing, and it seemed like no time had passed." It's no coincidence that the collective now presents its first take on a Jorge Palma song: "A Gente Vai Continuar." - Margarida MarinhoE3
