A young time-traveller with superhuman powers is stranded on Earth after running into a Black Hole. Pursued by the evil Goodchild, Sky is helped on his quest to find a way home by three human teenagers, Arby, Jane and Roy.

Burning BrightHunting for a bird injured on a pheasant hunt, Arby telepathically hears a voice calling for help. He finds a pallid, golden-haired youth with solid blue eyes under a pile of leaves, and takes him to (relative) safety.

JuganetThe forces of Earth's immune system attack Sky, rejecting his presence in this time. Roy and Arby take Sky to the school to gain knowledge of the Juganet's whereabouts. An incident with Roy's dad at the school complicates matters.
Goodchild

GoodchildThe forces menacing Sky are revealed in the form of a human being - the mysterious Goodchild - who causes an accident injuring Arby's mother. Sky uses all his energy to help Mrs Vennor and is left in a very weak state from the encounter with his adversary.
What Dread Hand

What Dread HandFollowing Goodchild's attack, Arby and Jane succeed in getting Sky to a hospital where his condition baffles everyone except one mysterious consultant.

EvalakeWith the help of a simple-minded patient, Sky escapes and they all travel to Glastonbury Tor. A hippy couple believe Sky to be the last of three mythical messiahs until Goodchild, and the planet's forces (the animus), attack again.
